ALL IN 1 Plastic Base - 10 Frame

The upgraded ALL IN 1 plastic beehive base offers an even more versatile solution for beekeepers, now featuring an optional tubular entrance reduction for added protection against robbing and a ventilated drawer specifically designed to help reduce varroa mites. This base serves as the bottom board, entrance reducer, and small hive beetle protector, all in one.

Made from durable, lightweight plastic, it’s designed to be positioned at the hive’s bottom, providing a sturdy foundation for the hive and facilitating bees’ entrance and exit. The integrated entrance reducer can be adjusted to control the size of the opening, helping regulate the hive’s internal temperature and humidity while keeping out pests like wasps and mice.

With a built-in plastic grill, the base enables bees to chase beetles out into a removable coreflute slide, which can also be closed during winter. This slide serves as a beetle control zone where pests are trapped or expelled, protecting the hive from damage. Additionally, the ventilated drawer is designed to accommodate our Varroa sticky mats (10 frame see here), (8 Frame see here) helping to further reduce mite populations effectively.
